This year the Costa del Sol broke all records and achieved the best summer in its history. More than 7 million visitors, more than 7,122 million euros in revenue and 5,2 points growth compared to 2016.

An undeniable incentive for all actions undertaken by the institutions to promote the Costa del Sol as a tourist destination that has grown the most in Spain. With a view to the future, we are already preparing for an increase in seats and extra flights between the Costa del Sol and major cities such as Amsterdam, Helsinki, Stockholm and London.

The next step is to extend the season, something that is already happening, as many tourists extend their stay or book outside the summer months.
